The Eggon Youths Movement (EYM) has condemned the gruesome murder of Alhaji Zakari Kigbu, a one-time National Commissioner of National Population Commission (NPC), by gunmen. National President of the group, Mr Godwin Dugga, made the condemnation in a statement in Jos. ”We are saddened with the spate of attacks, killings, and abduction of Eggon notable sons and daughters, as well as other residents of Nasarawa State. He advised citizens of the state to be law abiding, cooperate and support security agencies, to curb the security challenges currently facing the state. The gunmen killed Kigbu and kidnapped his two daughters at his residence at Azuba, a suburb of Lafia, the capital of Nasarawa State.
